Crying, screaming, throwing a bottle of body wash against the bathroom wall—I've found allowing pain to express to be essential to accessing the truth trying to be seen. That's how I get to the real question. For those of us working through an intuitive awakening, there's no lack of guidance in various forms. The question is whether this guidance is inherently "good"—if there is some overarching *harmonious* force in the universe. (If it can be trusted.) The resolution was not some Instagrammable platitude that will rack up the likes. It's actually this: I won't know, can't know, but I *want* to live as if there is goodness all around. When we look for evidence of anything, we find it. So why not look for evidence of good? In September, we have a fresh and clean new moon in Virgo on 9/10, with both Mercury and Venus sitting at 0 degrees. Then, we get a bold full moon in Aries on 9/26, conjunct illusory Neptune, with an active Mars-Pluto square. The divide between what is fresh, new, and beautiful, and what is being dissolved and destroyed, continues to widen. This newsletter is one way I am shifting my own attention and intention to the former—to the future we *want*. Energetically, when you fight against something, you give it power. The way to starve out unpleasing situations is to retract your attention from it, and pour your attention into what you *do* want. ## Upcoming stories Every month on Glow, paid subscribers will get weekly stories. If you have been following my journey, you may know that I spent the first 25 years of my life as a devoted evangelical Christian, before becoming agnostic and then rediscovering spirituality through a mystical lens. I've unlearned the toxic aspects of religion to the point that I'm now able to review the teachings of Jesus (!!) with a new lens. But I was still surprised that what got me googling Old Testament verses on Bible Gateway was a podcast about aliens. What I've found to be most grounding and supportive is coming together, in a safe space, and speaking it aloud. In this, you validate your own experience. This builds self-trust. In August, I hosted our first Community Call, and we will do these quarterly as a supportive check-in. Here's a reflection from someone who came: > "It’s amazing to me how something as simple as gathering a few like-minded people together can turn into something magical & meaningful." The next one will be in early November.
